Klopp: I will not leave Dortmund for Chelsea

The BVB coach is reportedly one of the candidates to take over at Stamford Bridge, but he has insisted that he will not join the Blues this summer, claiming he is "unavailable"

The 44-year-old is reportedly one of the candidates to replace interim boss Roberto Di Matteo at Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2011-12 campaign, but Klopp has affirmed that he has no intention of leaving the Bundesliga champions.

"I will not move to Chelsea. I can turn them down right away," the BVB coach said to Sky Sports.

"I feel honoured that I'm being mentioned in the same breath as [Pep] Guardiola and [Jose] Mourinho, but I am not available."

Meanwhile, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has also stressed that Klopp is going nowhere this summer.

"I don't care what Chelsea are doing. Chelsea are not an issue for us. Jurgen Klopp is going nowhere," Watzke was quoted as saying by Bild.

"We will keep working together, regardless of what happens. That's Jurgen's point of view, and my opinion as well. He did not recently sign a new contract until 2016 without a reason."

Klopp joined Dortmund in 2008 and led the club to sixth- and fifth-place finishes in his first two seasons before guiding them to the Bundesliga title last season.

BVB currently sit top of the German league table with a five-point lead over Bayern Munich, and reached the final of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday.
