Borussia Dortmund have unveiled Puma as their new official kit supplier. The German sportswear manufacturer will provide BVB´s kits for the next eight years with the reigning German champions being their flagship team. The new partnership, which will commence on 1 July 2012 and last at least until 30 June 2020, was announced in a grand ceremony on Wednesday. "We are back in the field of team sports, and stronger than ever before," said Matthias Bäumer, General Manager at PUMA Germany. BVB Marketing Director Carsten Cramer also pointed out that Borussia Dortmund will not follow every trend in the fast-moving fashion business. "We want to be responsive to the wishes of the fans. Which is not easy in today´s lifestyle-oriented world." The motto of the partnership, "Real Love is Yellow", is based on the club´s motto "Real Love".
